I’m taking on a challenge.
Each week, I’ll illustrate a core aphorism from a book I read, and share them at no cost as high-resolution illustrations (with the goal of creating 50 pieces).
What’s an aphorism? An aphorism is a concise, memorable, and impactful statement that expresses a truth or insight about life.
Why am I doing this? There are 3 reasons:
While you can learn a lot from books, it’s human-nature to forget. Pictures help you remember.
I want to help educate the world. There’s a lot to learn out there, and it’s not always accessible if you don’t particularly enjoy reading.
It’s fun! (at least for me); I love the challenge of summarising things visually, so this is a good intersection of my skills and what’s (hopefully) valuable for people.
Thanks for reading The Life Strategist so far, and I hope you find value in this Aphorisms project :)
Food for thought: What’s a book or aphorism that you want me to illustrate? Let me know.
Cheers
